i cannot believe we'd be packing our travelling bags days before the official opening of classes. i guess fate has a way of making you foresee the future in a subtle, but sometimes surprising way. just yesterday, mama was talking about how cheap authentic and designer bags are being sold in ukay-ukays in palawan, i made a comment about that saying that it would be cheaper to buy something at the mall than go to palawan and scout for authentic pieces at low prices. it never occurred to me that we'll be visiting palawan sooner than i thought, because just this afternoon lolo passed away. it was a bit unexpected although it was not a sudden death. he had been sick for years now, and maybe the loneliness has overwhelmed him so much. it's just sad that mama was not there when he passed away, considering the fact that she was there just a week ago for all souls day. again, i guess timing was not on our side. i hope and pray that God will guide lolo, and that he will be reunited with lola and auntie, because really, that is a comforting thought.
