you see, i wasn't always like this. back when i was in fourth year high school, with a new found blog, i liked writing no matter how superficial and nonchalant i may seem. i used to look forward to it, recalling my thoughts and memories whenever i'm faced with a pen and paper or a desktop PC.
something must have happened along the way: change, growing up, forgetting. i remember writing in my notebook that the day i stop writing is the day i die. i never knew how it turned out like this, i must have feigned busyness with procrastination and neglect.
looking back, 2012 has been a great year thus far: i have traveled, set new goals, celebrated a promotion and is currently learning to be a better person (family relationship-wise). it is unfortunate that i neglected writing since january, but i guess this entry is my new leaf. the "new leaf" allusion similar to the excitement i felt in elementary grade whenever i smell a new pad paper or workbook. besides, september usually gets me perked up with the thought of the holidays and the simbang gabi. plus, october 08 is a good 28 days away and we'll be off again :). so yes, i hope everything turns out rosy.
