i don't want to be a patrick star

you see, i've been unable to write anything good or sensible for the past couple of months. the one thing i might be good at, and yet i'm slowly failing majorly at it. i'm thinking of closing this blog, but then i promise that this would be my first love over tumblr so i guess this would stay, despite its moribund phase.

the reason why i did not exactly root for a particular team in the opening of the world cup is, one: there are just too many teams that i find it hard to know their respective "characters", and two: because i know for a fact that rooting for a particular team would be harder. then brazil came, and i suddenly found myself watching balls until the early hours of the morning just to witness a nil-nil game against portugal.

so imagine my horror with the result of the game against netherlands! last night's defeat was so heartbreaking its like seeing a friend fail. i guess we'll have to wait for four years to witness yet another stint of brazil in the world cup, and hopefully the finals. and i'll keep my fingers cross that brazil's hosting of the 2014 world cup would come as as advantage.

open letter to jasmine

jasmine!!

i know i promised to update this blog as much as how you update yours so that we could all know the happenings in our circle of friends's lives, but i haven't been keeping my word lately. blame it on my inability to write and think clearly because of, uhmm...distractions. anyway, we would be seeing each other tomorrow for our superfriends's movie date so i guess we could talk, gossip and laugh about the kwentos of our lives for the past months.
