19 years of candle wishing

birthdays are meant to be lucky..

i celebrated my birthday with a handful of close friends and we all went gaga over the long fx line on the way home. yes, it's always fun being with a bunch of good people who can make you comfortable even if you have a huge pimple.

i won a tomato pencil case in the fish bowl raffle of sm movie world :]. and we got 17 discount coupons for 9waves..yipee! swimming outing, here we come! plan. plan. plan. hehe. sinu kaya isasama namin? :]

on the other side of the planet, my family was complete for my birthday again. but this time it was close doors, under one roof. mama and papa under one roof. weird. things were different during my 18th birthday because we were in a private resort then. this time, we had a rather awkward dinner trying to prevent the talk-that-might-lead-to-something moment between our dear parents. everything's good in the hood, i think.

we watched evan almighty again. how i love that film.

i hope we all did our part in contributing to stop global warming.

what i did was sleep this afternoon to prevent myself from watching dvds and using the computer. a little too shallow, i know. but i guess through that simple way i was able to save electricity. and we also did the laundry today, pero ako yung nagbanlaw ng clothes, hands on, after ng first wash sa washing machine. and since i hate laundry above all the household chores, i think its a manifestation that i really do care for our environment. wait, i think what i just said was vague. basta, we should all put our best foot forward in saving mother earth. i'm going to list joining the firefly brigade in my to-do list.

an inconvenient truth aired tonight at HBO. sigh, the perks of having cable tv, too bad we dont have one :[.

i finally opened an email of viv that was dated last february 23, 2008. i cant believe i wasn't able to read it, na-miss ko siguro while scrolling. the email contained a very interesting trivia, and i just want to share it for the amusement of, uhmm, sharing something. may spanish meaning pala surname naming tatlong magkakaibigan. yey, hurray for us dd and bib!

i like viv's in particular, it reminds me of the beach.

on other side of things. good thing kuhn's not complaining because i keep on playing the across the universe soundtrack. which happens to contain only two songs by the way, so paulit-ulit lang yung i've just seen a face and all you need is love. nakakahiya naman kasi ipasend kay viv yung buong soundtrack. how i wish the soundtrack is out in the market already.

i wonder why some people tend to strain themselves too much. i mean, there's no need to complicate simple things. i find it funny that people find the dress to impress attire a little hard. cute nga e. you can wear anything under the sun as long as you feel good with it. simple. pinaganda lang yung anything under the sun and was changed it to dress to impress. that's why i really really hope that kris's friends would not bail out in her party this sunday.

i don't know what has gotten into me after the tomcat team building, but im feeling enthusiastic with all the creative juices popping into my head. so to start pagdidiskitahan ko ang tagboard entries in my blog.

grabe, benta. as in. oyie, jasmine, muka taung cool with all the talks we had before haha. barkadang-barkada dating. from the 'i quit' issue of oyi kay ding to jasmine's date with butchok. jasmine, na-name drop ko pa si butchok, so lagot ka if he ever stumbled upon my blog. yah right, as if that's going to happen. anyway, i miss the tags of my other blog friends :[. before i sounded like a very friendly person with all their his and hellos. miss ko na kayo herbs, lea, paola, rica and kim, sige pati tags ng kapatid ko kasali n din. it sucks that we don't update our respective blogs anymore. not with all the euphoria everyone is enjoying over multiply, not that i have one. its saddening. sige, i'll invent more reasons to suppress my slight urge to open a multiply account.

fact is stranger than fiction

since i've been away from the internet for 2 solid weeks, it's safe to say that iam currently unaware of news and interesting stuff the world wide web has to offer. i haven't even listened to the brewrats for quite some time now. tsk. anywho, kuhn shared a really interesting news she heard over the radio. there's this baby in india that was born with two faces but with a single body.weird, right? i read that the parents refuse to have the baby undergo any medical surgery for belief that she's the reincarnation of a hindu god. cool. i actually remember seeing a picture of a hindu god with 2 faces and a single body. i just cant find it right now because the encyclopedia is failing me. makaluma, pwede naman maghanap s net. anyway, i begin to wonder how the child would feel growing up. i mean, would she be weirded out or would she find herself special. the interesting part is her four eyes and two mouths are functioning well. meaning normal i guess. and dont get me wrong, the baby is cute except that you'll be weirded out because there's this mirror image effect. im betting she wont receive much teasing growing up. siguro kids would not dare tease her knowing that she's a reincarnation of their god. madami pa naman bad kids, pero takot lang nila sa karma.
