graduation

"...commencement, likewise, is the beginning of something new." this is my favorite line from oliver's salutatorian address. today was our graduation :]. and even though I was nostalgic for the past days, Im feeling pretty good right now. as a matter of fact, I was wishing that the ceremony be over awhile ago. I can no longer bear sitting for more than two hours with nothing to do. and add the fact that my feet were aching from those damn heels.

annoyance and a smile will never look good together. for youll never look good with a wrinkled forehead. tried and tested.

thank you to all those people who congratulated me:]

congratulations to all the OLPSian Seniors who graduated. we made it:]

play day

its so nice to be a kid all over again :]. thank God im able to pursue my goal of cherishing my last days in high school. and thank God for this day off from those tedious practices. kaya we had the chance to play this afternoon. ang sarap maghabulan at magtagu-taguan. and since we were now amateurs from all those kiddie games, nakabasag kami. haha..buti the janitor was not around kaya we had the chance to clean our own mess. pero masaya pa rin and after that tuloy pa rin ang playtime. no wonder i was so sweaty and clammy this afternoon. and add the fact that i was constantly running and hiding because of a stupid reason. lecheng butiki yan.

tomorrow's gonna be a looooooong day. its the general practice for the baccalaureate mass. i hope and pray that everything will flow smoothly. nakakaasar kasi yung interruptions e (ahem..last monday). time is fleeting and our graduation day us drawing nearer :[. i need to make the most out of everything. im looking forward for saturday kasi swimming :].

the yearbooks were distributed this morning. haha...nakita ko din si john luis.

meemo died last sunday night. bad trip. i was planning to have my picture taken with that dog when it matures. meemo was a doberman pinscher pa naman. what a loss.

10 days and counting...

today was suppose to be the first day of our final exams. it was moved because our clearance were not yet cleared. kaya instead of finishing 5 exams, we’re back to square one. and instead of reviewing for the exams tomorrow, im here wasting my precious time. pero i like it that way. my papa once said that we don’t have to review if we feel lazy. not a very sensible advice, i know. but why force your brain to retain all those darn lessons? papa said that passing is not only through memorizations. wise people are able to retain the things they learned. refreshing is only half of it. and anyway im in no hurry from graduating. sabi nga sa the alchemist, you should focus on your goal but also take time to observe the things around you.

our graduation is 10 days from now. and whenever i think about it i feel nostalgic. i guess every senior is experiencing that wistfulness. but look at the bright side. summer’s only weeks from now. we’ll all be hitting the waters soon. i envy vivien because she’s going spend 3 days in bora with her family. lucky girl. for now, I’ll wish na weekends na. that way, I wont have to worry about the test and we’ll be able to start the preparations. hay, ang sarap ng stress/hassle free weekend. sana weekend na. :]

happy thought:
welcome meemo! my dog na kame. he arrived last night

bum

school’s starting to be a total waste of time. there’s nothing to look forward to at the end of the day. nothing exciting has ever happened since february. how I wish things would change and a great miracle would happen. kasi naman, we were kept busy for the past week by the projects and requirements we need to pass. as if that would give the students the eagerness to study. schoolwork’s starting to get dull. the only thing I like about projects is the fact that im earning money from it. ang sarap kumita :]. I’ll plan na lang for summer. Kasi since the grad ball’s too far from happening, there’s nothing exciting to anticipate. tapos the graduation practices are really boring. super tedious yung ginagawa naming practices. even the weather’s not being too friendly. ang init na sobra. please sana maging masaya ulit. nakakatamad na kasi e.

happy thought:
sleep over last saturday nila dd, vivien and polin sa bahay :] sana maulet

cut class

lagot nanaman ako. why is it that whenever I cut class the teacher in charge never fails to notice my absence? joana & I did not attend our english subject today since we were only having the film viewing. we were at my sister’s classroom watching their cultural presentation. and let me tell you na ang daming close calls. nandyan yung time na ms.palumpa was at the window because she was also watching. e joana & I were seated on the floor, our backs against the window. kaya syempre todo tago. tapos we were also near the door so everytime someone will open the door, we were clearly seen. E nandun na sa tapat ng door yung adviser ng class. so when everyone was fixing the chairs, nakihila din kami ng chair and nag-pretend. tapos there was the fact that my classmates kept on texting and saying na our englisg teacher was looking for us. e super late na kaya pano pa kami pupunta dun? either way, she’ll still scold us for being tardy and cutting class. so pinanindigan namin ni joana & we loiter. we only went at the a.r. room when our next teacher was the one in charge na. hay.. lets hope against hope that she’ll forget that we cut class. kasi nag-check ng attendance e. but I’m also thankful kasi somehow my classmates tried to cover up for us. pero kinakabahan ako kasi we might get suspended. and to think na malapit na kami mag-graduate.
