USTET results

what can i say? i failed, and nothing would change that fact. well, i did not totally fail you know. my scores were still good for a recommendation. but that fact won’t brighten my spirit. some of my friends say that it was ok, considering that i was sick while taking the test. pero duh! i failed pa rin. now i need to start from scratch in order to find a decent school for college. and i’ m quite sure that UP is out of the question. i failed the USTET, what makes me think that i would be able to pass UPCAT? i guess my butt would probably land in St.Paul. but i cant imagine myself studying in an exclusive school. and St.Paul is definitely one of the prominent all-girls school in the country. and I know how St.Paul nuns run an institution. ive been studying in a school with a St.Paul Sister as the principal. pero good thing kasi even if our school is administered by St.Paul, we are still coed. hay, thank God im not that frustrated anymore unlike last night :]. what’s done is done and i cant change that. im not the only one who failed anyway.

happy thought:
my dashboard confessional album na kame :]

about american presidents

since i’ am currently reading deception point (a complex story where american politicians are involved), i guess this entry is somewhat relevant.

AMAZING (uhmm... more of creepy) THINGS ABOUT AMERICAN PRESIDENTS...
Look what happens when an American President gets elected in a year with a
"0"at the end.
1840: William Henry Harrison (died in office)
1860: Abraham Lincoln (assassinated)
1880: James A. Garfield (assassinated)
1900: William McKinley (assassinated)
1920: Warren G. Harding (died in office)
1940: Franklin D. Roosevelt (died in office)
1960: John F. Kennedy (assassinated)
1980: Ronald Reagan (survived assassination attempt)
2000: George W. Bush ????????????

THIS IS CREEPIER...
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker.......
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

smile:]

today is miss barreto's birthday :] we surprised her awhile ago by pretending to answer the test questions, but in reality we were writing messages for her. she was so nice she even treated us with pancit palabok. our lesson was cancelled and what we did for one whole hour was to celebrate her birthday. then around lunch, our section brought a cake in her office. oh you know, the usual stuff students do when its their adviser's birthday. but this was my first time to surprise an adviser for her birthday. kasi owing to unavoidable circumstances, my classmates then failed to give suprise birthdays. yesterday we watched narnia on dvd. the movie was exciting in my opinion. althougth some might find it childlike, i still think that it was wonderful. i just hate the fact that its being compared with harry potter. uhhrrggg. what's with the comparison anyway? both movies were distinct. i dont see the point of trying to compare two completely different movies. ok, so maybe they're not completely different. ay naku, watch it na lang and see for yourselves.
