new year's eve

its the last day of the 2005...darn. i love the year of the rooster because it was a blessed and fruitful year. how i hate this feeling of leaving a part of you behind. but there are also so many things to look forward to this year. like the fact that i'm graduating from high school this march. but wait, i don't think that's a wonderful idea. i mean, i'm yet ready to leave my comfort zone. how i wish college won't be as bad as what i've imagined. to make this entry short, i wish that the year of the dog will bring many good deeds and blessings to all :]. may we continue to prosper in every endeavor that we encounter.
Happy New Year!
Welcome the Year of the Dog!
arf...arf..

disperas ng christmas

as i was descending the stairs last night, i accidentally slipped. yes people, i slipped two steps near the bottom of the stairs. next thing i knew, i landed on my butt with an aching back. i was like "ahhh!..ang sakit ng pwet ko". i looked back to see if there was spilled water or something, pero wala naman. i guess i just slipped because i was destined to slipped that time. and as if my aching back & pwet wasn't enough, i started to have colds. it was as if my nose was crying because of the cold weather. i did not bring spare tissue that time pa naman. i had to endure an hour of unruly cough and colds (and to think that we were inside the church ). and speaking of unruly behaviours, we watched king kong that afternoon. man, it was completely exciting and heart stopping. and mind you, it was also scary. pano ba naman, those black colored native people were so brutal and downright scary. to sum it all, the movie was thrilling and action-packed (totoo yan!). makipag habulan ka ba naman sa isang 25 feet tall na gorilla and mga kung ano-anong dinosaurs. watch the movie and you'll know what i mean. ok let's change topic. this morning was the last simbang gabi. we attended the mass even if we already did the night before. let me tell you that it was so awkward to hear the same sermon all over again. but anyway, it was nice because we had the chance to experience the cold morning weather again.
p.s.
  • a big thank you to tita angelica for giving us a family gift last night. hehe, thank you po! :]
  • to all my friends that i had failed to send replies, sorry. tinotopak ang globe at ayaw akong i-register sa unlimited :[
  • to everyone, advance Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

christmas season

tis the season to be jolly… falalalalalalalala. hay, its christmas season all over again. i could already feel the chilly breeze of december (di ba kasi the humidity was still warm for the first two weeks of december). then there is the simbang gabi to look forward to. my plan this year is to complete the 9 mornings. unfortunately, I already missed the 2nd and 3rd mass. but even so, I will still continue it until the 24th of december. last Saturday was our christmas party :]. it was fun because christmas spirit was alive within the four walls of our campus (ngek). there was gift giving, games and music everywhere. and may battle of the bands pa. but I think we should change that to battle of the acoustics. pano ba naman, they were only required to used acoustic guitars and certainly no rock music allowed. satigras joined that said event (naks my band name na:]). And even if they did not win (2nd placer), I think they were still awesome (ngek, exaggeration : p). that same night was the christmas party of mdc-ever gotesco. mama said we could come and join the party. and it was also fun even if we got home by 2:30 in the morning. that was the reason kung bakit we failed to attend the simbang gabi in the morning. before I forgot, I want to thank all the people who made me smile last Saturday :]. thank you din sa mga nag-bigay ng gifts and cards. thank you, thank you talaga! Merry christmas everyone and I hope pumasa lahat ng OLPSians sa test today and tomorrow.

dream games

last thursday was the most anticipated ateneo-la salle dreams games. it was uber-fun considering that for the first time the ateneo & la salle key players (of their time) were playing together (imagine an olsen-l.a. tandem). ang saya talaga!:] and as expected there were certain situations that resulted to fights. joseph yeo kasi is such a sore loser!>:[ what was his problem ba?! buti nga naka two flagrant fouls :p. he should change that stinky attitude of his if he's planning to join the pba. aba, the players in the professional league are tougher and more obnoxious than he is. well anyway, congratulations to team ateneo for a job well done! two thumbs up:]

ding dong...its nearly christmas

i was watching foster's home for imaginary friends this morning(in rpn9 ha, la cable e) and then nag-flash yung ad saying na its 15 days to go before christmas. in a matter of 15 days we'll be celebrating a very cold christmas. i think this christmas season is not so cheery compared to the past years. you will notice that the usual colorful display of lights are deplete. even the christmas carolers are gone. i mean, as in twice pa lang yata my nag-carol sa min. even in school, the usual decorations are missing. that makes me wonder 'where is our christmas spirit?'. we should bear in mind that christmas is not about lavish festivities. its about being joyful in this time of crisis. let us set aside our indifferences and be glad that we are somehow recovering from a big blow. if you'll remember, disaster hit the philippines and several parts of asia last year. and if we dont stop complaining, we might us well get our karma again.
